Work Hours: Full-time (flexible working times). Weekends and holidays as required.
Salary Package: Commensurate with applicant experience.

Help Transform Government Service Delivery in PNG
NiuPay is seeking a technically skilled and driven leader to spearhead our self-service kiosk initiative in Papua New Guinea. The Impact You'll Make
As our Kiosk Systems Lead, you’ll be at the forefront of transforming public service delivery in PNG. You’ll design and implement a network of self-service kiosks that will bring government services directly to citizens, making them more accessible than ever before. This is more than just a technical role – it’s an opportunity to create meaningful change in how people interact with their government.
What You'll Do
- Lead Technical Strategy & Innovation
- Design and implement secure, reliable self-service kiosk systems that integrate seamlessly with government services
- Architect solutions that combine diverse hardware components with custom software, ensuring reliability in challenging environments
- Create robust integration strategies for connecting kiosks with government cloud services
- Establish comprehensive monitoring and management systems for the kiosk network
- Drive Implementation & Deployment
- Define hardware specifications that ensure durability and serviceability
- Develop deployment strategies that account for PNG’s unique infrastructure challenges
- Create and oversee quality-focused assembly and testing processes
- Implement innovative solutions for backup and failover systems
- Manage Operations & Maintenance
- Build and oversee technical infrastructure for remote kiosk management
- Design maintenance programs tailored to PNG’s specific environmental challenges
- Establish field service procedures and comprehensive documentation
- Implement systems for continuous monitoring and improvement
- Build & Lead Your Team
- Develop and mentor a multi-disciplinary technical team
- Set technical standards and quality benchmarks
- Collaborate with government stakeholders, telecommunications providers, and payment partners
- Manage technical partnerships and vendor relationships
What You Bring
- Extensive experience with complex hardware-software integrated systems
- Deep understanding of payment systems security and integration
- Proven track record in managing technical infrastructure in challenging environments
- Strong background in remote system monitoring and management
- Experience with cloud integration and API development
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead technical teams
- Excellence in stakeholder communication and project management
- Experience working with government or enterprise clients
