International Training Institute announcement welcoming NiuPay as title sponsor of AI-DATA 2026

Papua New Guinea’s digital laws are taking shape, and on Friday 23 October the people writing them, regulating them and working with them every day will be in one room. NiuPay is proud to be title sponsor of AI-DATA 2026, the International Training Institute’s conference on “AI, Data Protection and Cybersecurity: Future of PNG Digital Laws and Business”, at APEC Haus in Port Moresby.

Every platform we build for government and enterprise starts with the same question: how do we keep people’s data safe while making services faster and simpler to use? As the country’s digital laws are written, that question belongs to lawmakers, regulators and business leaders as much as to technologists, and AI-DATA 2026 brings them together.

The programme covers the digital laws now being prepared, and how institutions can stay ready as cyber risks grow: governance, AI policies, deciding where data lives, planning backups, and knowing what to do when something is lost.

ITI’s Chairman and Co-Founder, Senthil Kumaran Sentheyval, explained the choice of title sponsor by pointing to our work putting AI into production in government. “We want their experience, as they know more about what’s happening practically at the government level and the individual level in PNG,” he said.

We’ll share what we’ve learned building and running secure, dependable systems for the public sector and regulated industries, and we’re looking forward to learning from everyone in the room. Registration is open through ITI for in-person (K500) and online (K250) attendance. See you there.
